Biography

Dr. Sunae So is an Assistant Professor of Electro-Mechanical Systems Engineering at Korea University (Sejong Campus), leading the Smart Optics Lab (SO Lab). She earned her PhD at POSTECH (2022) under Prof. Junsuk Rho and specialises in AI-driven inverse design of photonic devices. She was named among Elsevier's Top 2% Scientists in 2024.
