Biography

Prof. Xianzhong Chen is a Professor of Physics at the Institute of Photonics and Quantum Sciences, Heriot-Watt University, UK, where he leads the Experimental Nanophotonics Group. His research covers metalenses, metasurface holograms, optical vortex beams and polarization detection — including the first dual-polarity metalens for imaging.
