The ITU–SZTE Pak–Hungary Photoacoustic Research Lab is a collaborative research initiative established through partnership between Pakistani and Hungarian research institutions to advance the field of photoacoustic imaging and sensing technologies. The laboratory focuses on interdisciplinary research that integrates optics, acoustics, biomedical engineering, and signal processing to develop advanced imaging techniques for medical diagnostics, biological research, and environmental sensing. Through international collaboration, the lab aims to create innovative photoacoustic technologies that improve healthcare diagnostics, scientific understanding, and industrial sensing applications.
High-resolution biomedical imaging using laser-induced acoustic signals.
Non-invasive diagnostic technologies for early detection of diseases.
Hybrid optical and acoustic sensing systems for advanced imaging.
Advanced algorithms for image reconstruction and data analysis.
Developing high-resolution tomography systems for biomedical imaging applications.
Investigating photoacoustic techniques for early detection of tumors and vascular abnormalities.
Integrating optical, acoustic, and ultrasound imaging technologies for improved diagnostic accuracy.
The laboratory collaborates with leading research institutions and universities in Pakistan and Hungary to promote scientific exchange, joint research programs, and student training initiatives in photoacoustic imaging and biomedical optics. These collaborations strengthen international research partnerships and accelerate the development of innovative diagnostic technologies.
