Biography

Dr. Muhammad Zubair is an Assistant Professor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the School of Engineering, University of Leicester, UK. He earned his PhD in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, followed by postdoctoral work at the SUTD-MIT International Design Centre in Singapore, with academic positions held at the University of Glasgow, KAUST, ITU Lahore and SUTD.

His research integrates computational modelling, artificial intelligence and advanced electromagnetic design across radio-frequency to optical frequencies. With over 200 peer-reviewed publications spanning electromagnetics, metamaterials, sensing, imaging and energy systems, he has been recognised among the Stanford–Elsevier World's Top 2% Most-Cited Scientists since 2022.
